Margot Mellett and Kurtis Mellett are the owners of Eligo Corporation and the property on which the Craftsbury municipal gravel pit is located. Their connection to Craftsbury is both long-standing and deeply personal. Margot Mellett has lived in Craftsbury for more than 60 years, and the property has been connected to her family for approximately 100 years. Kurtis Mellett has shared that connection for more than 35 years, and together they raised their children in this community.

For generations, the land has been part of a larger family story shaped by Vermont's rural traditions, natural beauty, and strong sense of community. More than simply a piece of property, it represents a lasting connection to the people, places, and landscapes that make the Craftsbury area unique.
